70,000 face hunger in Aranji

QUETTA: At least 70,000 people in tehsil Aranji, some 120 kilometres from Khusdar are facing hunger and famine, Geo TV reported on Friday.

There has been no rain in the area for the last many years and it depicts a picture of death as thousands of animals have due died from hunger. So far no government agency has come for the relief work. Tube-wells installed by philanthropists have also been dried up. No medical facility is available in the area and people are suffering from various fatal diseases.
